2012 25th PAM Architectural workshop the installation and exhibition winner!

designing in PROGRESS... here come our 

working model tsk tsk!

material collection~ THE BAMBOO _

here is our hero who go all the way to Hulu Langat and hunt for the bamboo~

noticed that most of the material we took is free and organic!

 growing in PROGRESS... dah dah dah...

WEAVING of bamboo

design is very crucial in everything,

even the details of it!

here showing you some details that we did for our installation!

1)first is the weaved bamboo floor finishes that connected to each others by wire.

2)the bamboo base support showing the tensile force

3)weaved bamboo that formed by one quarter of original bamboo

4) the supporting bamboo that tied by the rope

5) the innovative LIGHTING sculpture made from bamboo and rope
6) the construction of the supporting bamboo
7) another view for the lighting sculpture for our installation

7) the drilling process for the HANGING bamboo

the final is yet to come!

noticed the entrance which is smaller and the exit which is bigger?
well...what the principle inside?

DID our absorption of lighting sculpture catch ur attention?

the BLOOMING of the bamboo at the middle of the booth enlighten the overall installation.

LOOK at the shadow casted on ceiling !
 the installation with the lighting become more interesting when the

WEAVING skilled apply at every single detail!

so does our main structure~

welcome to our INSTALLATION!

the GROWTH!
the entrance is meant to be smaller and causes the visitor to bend down

which is kind of respect our installation 

at the same time it reflect the hardship of the farmer on how they

planting the PADI
ONCE u enter the installation, the exhibit should definitely attract ur attention! :)
the right hand side will be the exhibition of board and model

the left hand side will be the bare wall with the hanging bamboo

da~da~ the HANGING bamboo at the middle part of the installation which represent the GROWTH,
different height, different diameter, different colour and different thickness!
each of it CARVED and ENGRAVED with all our name!
our hardwork is carved ontop of it! SPOT which one is mine?haha~
the middle part of the installation is the INTERVENTION part where it goes chaotic, dynamic and spacious.

the exit will be a celebrating part where it is higher and bigger opening.

notice that all the board are LIGHTS up by our lighting and its all attached to the left hand side of the wall
the right hand side of the wall remain empty so as to showing the
weaving skilled and natural look of the bamboo.
