Strip of Light | Architecture & Lighting Study

Strip of light
consists of free flow of lighting strip with 3 basic colour _ yellow, blue and red.
The main material will be timber cladding on concrete as timber is brown in colour which is neutral colour.

From the case study, T-clinic,
The design concept generate from the basic form and connection of the case study analysis.
Development of model from first to the third consequently prostrating the idea of linearity.

Material, colour, thickness are the major issue that i discussed in this case.
the forth, fifth and sixth model somehow relate the characteristic that i mentioned
space planning and the requirement on daylighting is to be identified before we design the facade.

Interior view of the box creating a depthness within the strip light. L shaped light formed and actually showing movement and motion which indirectly make it more interesting. The different in thickness of the wall also help in sun shading.

From the elevation drawing, the lighting strip which moving to right corner is actually turning a big round in the overall cuboid.
HSA and VSA drawing was done to prove the benefit of the use of STRIP opening which actually
provide sufficient daylighting all day long since  small amount of skylight is applied.

STRIP OF LIGHT
The overall design is massiveness yet lightness.
It is interesting to know how the light can be diffused, diffracted, reflected or even refracted into a space through different matter.
