A city that is close to nature,
A city that you can see deer everywhere,
A city which still preserve the historical and sociocultural heritage.
Nara is an ancient capital city of Nara Prefecture, Kansai region of Japan.
Its over 1300 years of history with the scenic and historical architecture around the city was 
one of the must visiting places in Kansai.
We travel to Nara by Kintetsu pass which valid for 5 days use ( 5200 yen)

Nara is famous with the deers which are all over the city,
they have now co-exist with the local residents.
Legendary story of Kasuga Shrine describe the deer as heavenly animals that
protect the residents, city and the country.

The legend was about a mythological god who arrive in Nara on white deer
to guard the newly built capital of Heijo-kyo. Since then, the deer has been regarded as one of the important animal in Japan apart from the fox.


Nara is the capital city of Nara Prefecture that located in Kansai region of Japan.
It is located near to the border of Kyoto Prefecture which can be reached through
Kintetsu raiway or JR line by train.



Tame Sika Deer roam through the town, especially in Nara Park.
Snack vendors sell "shika sembei" (deer biscuits) to visitors so they can feed the deer.
Besides, there is other vendors around the park which sell snacks like
the sweet potato and the sweet muji.



Most of the UNESCO world Heritage site that located in Nara are concentrated in Nara Park.
There is 8 main temples, shrines and ruins in Nara especially
Todai-ji, Saidai-ji, Kofuku-ji, Kasuga Shrine, Gango-ji, Yakushi-ji, Toshoda-ji, and
Heijo Palace together with Kasugayama Primeval Forest.
Praying and wishing by writing through the wooden plank around the temples
were one of the culture where the visitors can write down their wishes.
